Job Description

Lending Technology & Service Support provides support to Navy Federal's Lending business strategy by partnering with our Lending business partners to develop and support automation solutions leveraging Application Development, Robotic Process Automation and Testing/QA. We provide fast, reliable, and friendly technical support to our Lending customers through swift and correct resolution of submitted tickets and the monitoring of alerts 24/7. 

The Summer Associate will gain valuable insight into Navy Federal’s business, technology, resources and procedures by providing support in focused areas, applying knowledge and education. Participate in a collaborative, team driven network and interact with multiple departments. Receive guidance and direction from team and management. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day to day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies and procedures. 

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and preparation of reference material 
  • Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization concerning new automated systems, products and/or services
  • Develop and administer online reference material, instructions and communications 
  • Maintain documentation library to ensure currency of processes 
  • Identify, communicate and resolve technical, tactical and operational project issues and risks 
  • Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans 
  • Ensure software/systems meet regulatory and procedural requirements 
  • Research, develop and recommend enhancements to improve operational processes and procedures 
  • Identify and detect errors/omissions; resolve or arrange for the resolution 
  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or procedures 
  • Work with other business units to resolve systems and equipment issues
  • Perform research for process improvements 
  • Recommend corrective action when discrepancies 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
