The Opportunity:

This is a mission-critical role that executes inventory management tasks to ensure organization, accuracy tracking, sufficient stock levels, and compliance.  This role involves receiving, putting away, maintaining, and distribution of inventory, as well as other tasks such as record keeping, addressing discrepancies, and applying inventory management best practices, such as proper inventory rotation (FIFO, LIFO, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain efficient inventory management systems for managing inventory, including automated tracking and reordering processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy, resolving discrepancies to maintain reliable data.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts in preparation for the fiscal year-end audit, focusing on supply chain assets.
  • Coordinate the timely release and delivery of materials to the production floor, aligning with manufacturing requirements.
  • Meets productivity work standards while demonstrating competency in job skills and knowledge by completing scheduled work in allotted timeframe.
  • Maintain thorough records of all inventory transactions to ensure traceability and accountability.
  • Perform physical inventory counts of on-hand asset inventory in Supply Chain areas in preparation for end of fiscal year audit.
  • Meet established productivity standards while demonstrating proficiency in job functions and completing tasks within the designated timeframe.
  • Manage the processing and tracking of RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations
  • Oversee the receipt and shipment of materials, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support overall logistics operations

     

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Suite programs (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, including ability to distinguish between materials having similar designations.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing mission critical priorities.
  • Dynamic self-starter capable of working in an environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds or more.

Desired:

  • BA/BS degree
  • ERP/MRP software system experience
  • Expediting and shop floor control experience
  • Financial integration and inventory costing experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$64,400 - $135,100
