General Summary:
Drive and enforce Qualcomm’s ESG/sustainability requirements for conformance to legislative, industry, and customer requirements
Respond to customer inquiries on Qualcomm’s product environmental governance and responsible minerals sourcing
Provide product environmental governance data to customers
Work in customized Agile PG&C data management solution (i.e., data entry and report generation)
Engage suppliers for collecting necessary data for product environmental governance and responsible minerals sourcing
Provide clarifications to suppliers on Qualcomm requirements
Seek to improve Qualcomm’s sustainability management through process improvements and enhancements
Provide support for driving and achieving Qualcomm’s Net-Zero commitment
Engage necessary Qualcomm functions (e.g., Engineering, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Service, IT, etc.) to drive and implement improvements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Sustainability, or related field
Work Experiences
Must have the ability and interest to understand semiconductor fabrication and assembly processes and global sustainability legislative developments
Must be analytical, highly organized, self-initiative, and able to work with large datasets for multiple products
5+ years in the industry working on environmental issues at the product level
Hands on knowledge of responsible sourcing of minerals
Knowledge of current environmental governance legislations (e.g., EU RoHS, REACH, etc.), responsible sourcing of minerals, sustainability, circular economy, etc.
Experience working with a 3rd party product environmental governance solution provider
Fundamental understanding of data structures, data bases or Agile PG&C
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Background in the semiconductor industry a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
