Job Summary
Under general direction with a high level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to provide leadership and strategic direction to oversee the firms interactions with its prudential (bank and bank holding company) regulators, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and the banking regulators of the States of Florida and Pennsylvania. Extensive contact with executive management and various departments of Raymond James is required to perform the functions of this position.

Knowledge of
The key rules and regulations applicable to banks and bank holding companies with a particular focus on risk management, capital, liquidity and credit.
Businesses conducted by non-bank entities such as broker-dealers and investment advisors and a general understanding of the laws and regulations which govern them.
Concepts, practices and procedures of the financial services industry.
Skill in
Administering regulatory notifications and filings.
Planning and scheduling work to meet regulatory organizational and regulatory requirements.
Preparing oral and/or written reports.
Project management skills and experience sufficient to successfully complete long and short term projects.
Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying complex problems and providing effective resolutions.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including database applications and regulatory agency systems.
Managing a small team.
Ability to

Work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Education/Previous Experience
Bachelor%26rsquos Degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related discipline required with a Master%26rsquos degree preferred. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Compliance, Risk, Legal, Banking and/or regulatory experience in the financial services industry. (MBA, JD or equivalent a plus)
Project management
A minimum of [10] years working at a bank or bank holding company in the areas of risk, finance, compliance or legal
