Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is actively searching for a System Engineer to support Hull Machinal & Electrical (HM&E) systems with engineering analysis and analytical assessment of the system’s readiness, at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. Responsibilities:

  • Use multiple databases to determine RM&A metrics and assess systems readiness.
  • Combine and integrate failure data to analyze and assess a single system, multi system, or system of systems readiness.
  • Develop and document a single system or system of systems reliability models and criteria for scoring system failure events.
  • Research and learning navy systems.
  • Use readiness assessment tools, Navy or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS).
  • Learn and use the established data editing process including data review and data extraction & loading.

     

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Relevant Degree ( BS in Engineering ) or US Navy equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.

  • Knowledge of probability theory and its application in the field of reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A).

  • Knowledge of Navy organization, structure, ship classes, and shipboard systems.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to acquire a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

    $58,000 - 115,900 USD
