We are seeking a cleared, skilled and experienced Windows Enterprise Services Manager with expertise in Windows system configuration management to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will lead a team who plays a crucial role in integrating, maintaining and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure and maintaining MCM, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability. You will be responsible for leading the team both administratively and technically.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and management guidance to the team as they provide support to the Air Force client.
  • Organize and motivate other administrator's to effectively resolve problems and complete projects in a timely manner. 
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior administrators and foster improvements in skill level.
  • Maintain scheduling to ensure proper shift coverage.
  • Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
  • Coordinate and troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose Windows system problems and determine root cause.
  • Manage the maintenance and operations of the information technology computer systems within the weapon system.
  • Perform routine system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance on Windows system to include servers and workstations.
  • Provides strategic advice, improvement processes, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
  • Install, configure and maintain various applications utilizing (Microsoft Configuration Management) MCM system.
  • Perform system checks (processes, services, network, storage) to ascertain overall system health.
  • Conduct security patching on Microsoft systems on a regular cadence to maintain security posture in the Weapons systems.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active TS/SCI. (must have).
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience.
  • DODD 8570 certification. (must have).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in Microsoft servers/workstations and Enterprise systems.
  • Strong proficiency in creating Standard Operation Procedures and various types of required documentation.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Desired:

  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Server 2012r2/2016/2019, Microsoft Windows 10/11, Linux, VMware, Data Center Storage Management, Active Directory, WSUS, DHCP.
  • Leadership Development courses.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
