The Opportunity:

Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Systems Administrator supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems

  • Support mainframe, mini, or client/server based systems

  • Optimize system operation and resource utilization

  • Conduct basic system capacity analysis and planning

  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems

  • Perform system maintenance and updates

  • Monitor system performance and availability

  • Support backup and recovery operations

  • Assist with user account management

  • Help maintain system documentation

  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations

  • Support both legacy and modern systems

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma

  • Up to 7 years of experience in systems administration

  • Basic knowledge of system administration principles

  • Understanding of computer operating systems

  • Basic troubleshooting skills

Desired:

  • Experience with DoD/Navy systems

  • Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+)

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems

  • Basic scripting abilities

  • Understanding of system security principles

  • Experience with help desk support

  • Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures

Specific labor category determined by years of experience + educational degrees as stated below:

  • Systems Administrator I – High School diploma and up to 7 years experience in system administration

  • Systems Administrator II – Bachelors degree and strong knowledge of system administration principles

  • Systems Administrator III - Bachelors degree and 5 years experience in system administration within DoD/Navy

Note: This is a Non-Exempt position subject to overtime pay requirements and aligned with Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determinations.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​

 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$28.83
