Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer with expertise in SCCM and Endpoint Management to join a mission-critical project for the Department of Justice’s National Security Division (NSD). The Systems Engineer will focus on the provision, administration, and monitoring of endpoint services across classified environments.

Responsibilities:

▪ Provision, administer, and maintain endpoint services across two classified enclaves.

▪ Manage system operations including hardware, OS, and utilities on all servers and computer systems.

▪ Ensure the ongoing health and viability of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), including configuration, patch management, troubleshooting, and version upgrades.

▪ Implement updates, patches, and builds to maintain system security across the network.

▪ Serve as Tier 2 support, resolving complex issues beyond Tier 1 staff capabilities.

▪ Work with vendors on COTS/GOTS applications to ensure functionality.

▪ Analyze technical and business requirements, providing practical solutions.

▪ Collaborate with clients and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

▪ 5+ years of expertise in SCCM (preferably version 2303).

▪ Experience in server management, patch management, and automation (PowerShell scripting preferred).

▪ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

▪ Experience with endpoint imaging and system deployment.

▪ Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI

Compensation:

Location: 100% Onsite in Washington, D.C.

Hours: core hours required: 10 am - 3pm EST

Salary: $160,000- $175,000/ year
