The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Systems Leader who is experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of US AFRICOM’s mission objectives. CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Windows Systems Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.Qualifications :
- Must have a Bachelors degree and over 15 years of IT technical experience
- Previously Served as a Sr. Systems Administrator/Team SME
- Systems Leader is required to be command expert knowledge and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Team.
- Hold an Active Secret Clearance - Current US Citizen
- Also meet TESA Approval Required Standards: Bachelors and 3 years experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience in the field of endeavor. No Waiver.
- Senior Level SME experience with:
- Windows server administration and related technologies.
- Computing environment certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure101, etc).
- Security+ or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher.
- Scripting in PowerShell.
- Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

The Systems Lead will oversee the planning and execution of important policies implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day deliverables which in include:
- Establish or work to achieve, team objectives, operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function or completion of a project.
- Focus is on short-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year).
- Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results
The System Lead will ensure the supports the command with:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related components.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect data and systems.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization through regular maintenance.
