Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Software Analyst – Mobile Apps in Merrifield, VA. The role will initially be on-site, and then Hybrid with 2 days remote. The day to day will consist of working on the software and data within handheld scanners on a multi-year program for USPS. The specific scanner that you will assist with is utilized by postal workers to scan packages and letters, track deliveries, and manage routes effectively. 

Responsibilities:

•      Develop requirements, workflow, & system analysis for mobile delivery device

•      Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, analyze system capabilities

•      Work on software inside Mobile Delivery Device/Scanner to develop requirements, workflow, & systems analysis

•      Optimize Barcode Scanning, GPS Functionality, Data Entry, Connectivity, & Durability of scanner through RTOS programming

Qualifications:

•      3+ years of Software Engineering

•      Experience working with Handheld Scanners

•      RTOS Programming experience

•      Experience with Network packet analyzers (Wireshark, Capsa, Netflow, or others)

•      Must be eligible for a US government security clearance

Compensation Package:

•      Salary Range: 110k-120k
