Job Description Summary:
Tax transformation senior manager will have responsibility for providing strategic tax transformation leadership. You will be responsible for developing and setting strategic priorities and roadmaps, support the execution of transformation initiatives lead by the businesses, and leading execution of corporate led projects including quick wins and value delivery.This position will provide project leadership, oversight of finance team members and internal partners, and support key tax system and data related initiatives, that are part of the Finance Transformation annual plan to deliver outcomes that promote efficiency, return on project investments and expense savings that are in compliance with PayPal’s global statutory and regulatory obligations.

Your day to day:
Define and align Tax strategic priorities across the enterprise with the PayPal finance transformation vision.
Supports Tax business & technology run the business and key initiatives including prioritization, planning, budgeting coordination, and execution
Create and implement a robust and strategic tax transformation and execution plan.
Support the development of implementation plans for achievement of Tax strategy including processes, technology, and talent as well as provide the end-to-end view of implications and dependencies.
Support treasury transformation activities including current state and future state process maps and. End to end integration across finance functions.
Develop business cases surrounding Tax business process & technology selection decisions, employ a prioritization framework and recommend approval/ budget allocation.
Regularly identify areas of improvement, research best practices and offer guidance and recommendations for process changes and potential solutions.
Utilize a data-driven approach to demonstrate the current system capabilities and easily aggregate and analyze complex information into a concise, clear summary for your audience
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects, and focus efforts on key priorities
What do you need to bring:
Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or Business degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Tax or Finance transformation related roles.
Experience in a global and matrixed organization.
Experience with large, multi-year transformation projects including operating model, process, business case and technology-enabled transformations.
Strong project management skillset, including project scoping and planning, structure thinking, and risk identification & resolution.
Strong ability to coordinate action and collaborate across globally dispersed workforce.
Demonstrate agile thinking by easily shifting between business-focused conversations with a financial leader to a technology-focused conversation with a technology team
Team oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills with a strong ability to clearly communicate via PowerPoint documents and present information to all levels of management
