Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Credit Risk team.

As a Technical Product Manager in the Credit Risk team, you will be responsible to build innovative and scalable solutions for Credit Risk platform to enable growth, revenue and effectively mitigate risk losses.

We create cutting-edge solutions to mitigate financial risk and maximize profits while enabling creation of Consumer and Merchant credit products that people love. We are looking for intellectually curious individuals eager to ignite change and inspire others.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for owning a product roadmap leading from discovery to delivery.

  • Define product requirements and lead successful execution of initiatives.

  • Work closely with Business strategy partners to determine trends and identify opportunities.

  • Engage closely with engineering and architecture in Agile methodology to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams at PayPal and external partners to design, build, launch new product capabilities.

  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.

  • Have a strong grasp of data and deriving insights out of it

  • Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and make product decisions. 

  • Partner with Customer Support teams in solving pain points for our users.

  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.

  • Define a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling roadmap of projects or iterations.

Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA or MS preferred

  • Minimum 8 years of experience dealing with technical problem solutions as a product manager.

  • Strong in Analytical skills - Proficient in query languages such as SQL, Python

  • Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal

  • Innovative, entrepreneurial, ability to multi-task

  • Highly motivated, goal driven, Can-do approach, curious and open minded
