As a Technical Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our disbursement network. This position will support continuous improvement, problem-solving, and efficient scaling of operations, ensuring our payment and transaction processes are robust, reliable, and high-performing.

Our team supports the operations around the world with presence in Guatemala, Salvador, Philippines and India. We use a combination of alerting systems, logs and reports to keep track real time for the remittance traffic.

  • Monitor and Analyze: Track the health, performance, and efficiency of the disbursement network, identifying and investigating any anomalies or operational issues.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to disbursement, working closely with cross-functional teams to minimize disruption and maintain seamless customer experience.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data analytics to assess operational performance, generate insights, and provide regular reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to design and implement improvements that enhance transaction speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Partners: Work closely with partners and vendors to ensure alignment, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integration for smooth transaction flow.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks in the disbursement ecosystem, implementing preventive measures and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role you will

  • Monitor all internal Xoom and Xoom Partner systems to ensure optimal transaction efficiency, responding to alerts according to predefined guidelines.
  • Minimize Service Recovery Times and Down Time Impact.  
  • Lead Service recovery/improvement strategies.
  • Manage enterprise-wide communication of any processing variance in accordance with communication standards, including detailed root cause analysis
  • Act as an escalation contact for TCO agents to resolve and coordinate integrations issues in a timely fashion, engaging Partner organizations as appropriate and providing responses within established time frames.
  • Proceed based on defined internal processes to execute and resolve internal and external teams requirements.
  • Maintain disbursement network processing manuals for the teams in the cost centers.

What do you need to bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical operations, business analysis, or network monitoring, ideally within fintech, payments, or digital remittance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI software), with knowledge of APIs and transaction monitoring systems as a plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
