The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for driving end to end technical activities related to private wireless network product development and management of the of the product lifecycle including deployment services product(s). This role acts as the CTO of the product in collaboration with the commercial product management. This includes accountability for managing the product roadmap, capturing business requirements and translating to product technical requirements, completing new technical features on time. Delivering product within budget in coordination with business peers by managing expectations and ensuring communications with development resources. The candidate will also be responsible to collaborate and lead a cross-functional group of stakeholders to develop the product.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cellular technology, network infrastructure, scalability, and simplicity. The right candidate will be able to build and manage relationships to drive the successful delivery of the product and ensure the business can maintain a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Delivering new products and features on-time and in-budget
Identifying options and providing recommendations to resolve production issues
Implementing wireless connectivity technology and platforms strategies and approaches
Working in an agile environment with development and customer-facing organizations such as marketing and agencies
Collaborating with business product management and marketing execution organizations to co-develop a roadmap
Leading and participating on cross-functional teams to execute multi-channel strategies
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including development organizations such as Solutions Architecture, Commercial Product management, GNT, TPD, Regulatory, Legal, IT, Operations, etc.
Preparing and delivering executive communications for both business and technical leadership
Benchmarking competition, evaluating new industry trends, and shaping future digital strategies that will drive future growth
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in technical field or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Demonstrated knowledge of cellular networks, deployment and managed services, and private networks
Experience with launching network products in an agile environment
Product Management experience
Five or more years of relevant work experience working with customers.
Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar product/project and documentation management tools
G-Suite and Microsoft Office
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master’s degree
Seven or more years of Product Management / Development experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Verizon front-end and back-end infrastructure
Agile Business experience
Strong business case skills

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $128,000.00 and $238,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
