Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for Technical Professional personnel to support the upcoming Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS) program. COSMOS specifies technical, managerial, and administrative work needed to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the Flight Operations Directorate’s (FOD) Mission Systems supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space flight programs requiring mission operations support.

For this contract, “Mission Systems” is defined as the systems and subsystems of integrated hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, data, displays, and mockups used in the preparation for and performance of mission operations.

*Positions are contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • The COSMOS Technical Professional team provides solutions for a wide variety of complex issues.

  • Delivers independent solutions for issues.

  • Defines and follows established processes and procedures and are instrumental in identifying and implementing improvements as necessary.

  • Works under very limited supervision and routinely exercises latitude. These positions may also assist in the supervision of less senior individuals

  • Heavily contributes to the completion of milestones associated with large projects and programmatic objectives.

  • Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Logistics Management, Technical Writing/Editing, Training Design/Development, Training Instructions/Facilitation, Facility Scheduling and Management, Production Control and Resource Management, Configuration and Data Management, Facility Safety, etc.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education + professional level experience in Math, Science, Business, or Accounting

  • Must have anywhere from 6 months -10 years of related work experience (Level I requires the least amount of experience, Level II requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, and Level III requires 10 years)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
