Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Lead to join an ARNG program out of Arlington, VA. This position is fully onsite and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Telecommunications Lead:

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems (AVAYA, CISCO, etc.)
• Supervise and lead a team of technicians, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met
• Perform fiber and copper installation and support, including termination, testing, and troubleshooting
• Communicate effectively with senior officials and stakeholders, bridging technical terminology gaps

Qualifications of the Telecommunications Lead:

• 10+ years of experience functioning in a Telecommunications role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
• Knowledge and experience with AVAYA communications system 2.1 or greater
• CISCO Unified Communications phone system
• Call lead voicemail system and Communication Lead Messaging
• Fiber and copper installation and support (termination, testing, installing)
• Must possess current IAT Level II Certification: CCNA-Security, CND, Security+ CE, CySA+
• High School Diploma required

Compensation for the Telecommunications Lead:

• Salary: $60,000-72,000/year *flexible based on experience*
