What you’ll be doing...

This position – which is part of the Verizon Thrive Apprenticeship Program – will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm while learning from the best minds in the industry.  You’ll be front and center, hands-on, and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 1 year apprentice experience.  You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects across various teams within Verizon that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program while preparing you to work as a developer at a technology company.

Business Function: Preparing and providing timely information from Workday and PeopleSoft for routine legal requests. Partnering with varies support teams (HR Answers and HR Records) in response to requests for information.

Technology: Use reporting tools (Cognos, Qlik) and Google Suite



What we’re looking for...

Providing support for TA Compliance processes, you’ll play an important role in our efforts to provide accurate and timely information in response to requests for TA-related information. You’ll track requests using a case management tool and provide documentation from our applicant tracking system to drive resolution. Responsible for delivering service excellence, you’ll partner with various support teams to resolve requests and inquiries while ensuring legal compliance and operating efficiencies.



You’ll need to have:

  • One or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Google Suite.

  • Experience partnering with others.



Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of reporting tools to gather and analyze data.

  • Experience handling HR policies and processes.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
