*Active Secret Clearance or Top Secret needed for consideration*

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VDI Engineer Jr. to support a large USSOCOM contract at Fort Liberty, NC. The VDI Engineer Jr. will be supporting VDI Infrastructure for the USSOCOM environment. This individual will manage, optimize, and troubleshoot virtual desktop environments across multiple offices. This is an on-site position that requires a Top Secret Clearance for consideration. Will be upgraded to TS/SCI.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in VDI system design, deployment, and optimization.
• Configure load balancing, networking, and GPU-accelerated VDI setups.
• Implement automation for image updates, patches, and monitoring.
• Day to day operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of virtual desktops using VMware Horizon, Citrix, or Microsoft AVD
• Patch management, updates, and image management for virtual desktops.
• Knowledge of DoD security frameworks (STIGs, RMF compliance).
• Understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, and networking for VDI.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands on VDI experience
• Scripting experience
• 3+ years of alike experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance

Compensation:

• $90,000 - $112,000 *depending on experience*
• Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave if required by Law
