Job Description

Job Duties: Vice President with The Ayco Company, L.P., A Goldman Sachs Company in Morristown, New Jersey.  Financial planner role responsible for providing proactive financial counseling, full-service implementation, including tax preparation and investments, to address complexities of executives, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. Extensive client interaction and preparation of various reports for clients in the areas of cash flow planning, income tax projections, investment allocation and investment performance. Work one-on-one with individual and/or corporate clients providing comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning and tax services to corporate employees, executive and/or other high-net-worth individuals. Prepare various reports for client in the areas of cash flow planning, income tax projections, investment allocation, investment performance and estate flowcharts. Extensive telephone contact and/or face-to-face interaction with clients and their outside advisors to obtain information and provide advice. Prepare and review income and gift tax returns for clients.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, such as Global Finance. Five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or two (2) years of experience with a Master’s degree in the job offered or in a related role within financial industry. Prior experience must include five (5) years with a Bachelor’s degree or two (2) years with a Master’s degree the following: MS Office package (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) acquired through experience with building financial models & analyses, assembling presentations, word processing and relevant administrative work within financial industry; maintaining confidential and sensitive written and oral information contained in Nonpublic personal information and Business records in the financial industry; articulating and communicating complex financial concepts and planning ideas using oral, written, and nonverbal communication skills to inform and instruct a diverse audience; and handling multiple tasks and responsibilities, including preparing exhibits/analyses, daily communications, processing documents and completing training requirements, while meeting strict deadlines in financial industry. FINRA Series 7, 66 and 3 licenses required. Life and Health License required.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this Morristown, New Jersey-based position is $100,000/year – $150,000/year.
