The Opportunity:

 

CACI is seeking a Vice President to oversee the Navy Engineering & Mission Support Division within the Mission & Engineering Support Line of Business (LoB). As the Division Manager you will be responsible for the growth and strategic management of a $300M+portfolio comprised of a dispersed workforce. The role reports directly to the LoB Leader and is based in the DMV area with an expectation of predominately working from a CACI office.

Responsibilities:

As the Division Manager, VP, you will be responsible for the growth and strategic management of a $300M+ portfolio providing mission support services that include training, warfighter readiness, acquisition, program management, lifecycle, engineering services, and R&D support to Navy customers. You will manage 20-30 programs of widely varied sizes with a dispersed workforce operating across both CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will report directly to the Mission and Engineering Support Senior Vice President. You must be able to work primarily from a CACI site located near or the DMV area.     

You will be responsible for partnering closely with the LoB Leader to drive all aspects of strategy development, execution, and growth within the Division. You will develop strategic plans and initiatives for the Division ensuring that financial commitments are met, year over year growth is achieved, and the Division’s portfolio continues to expand through on-contract growth and new business wins. You will also be responsible for actively driving and participating in new business pursuits to accelerate portfolio growth.

More About the Role: 

The Division Manager must excel at communicating, establishing strong internal and external relationships while building networks across the enterprise. The ability to establish and execute operational business rhythms to drive outstanding program performance is critical and will be achieved through participation in program management reviews and quarterly operations reviews. This role will also drive program performance ensuring operational effectiveness is achieved by both CACI and relevant teammates.

The Division Manager will drive a culture of transparency through frequent communication and engagement with employees in the organization to identify, develop, and retain talent. You will develop the next level of leaders for succession planning, drive accountability to achieve performance excellence, and actively communicate with employees through site visits, all hands meetings, and other methods of employee engagement. You will be responsible for selecting, assessing, and improving the skills of your PMs to maximize contract performance while also developing the workforce of the future. You will continuously evaluate the strength of your team and identify strategic opportunities for skill enhancement ensuring employees are positioned for progression and/or mobility.

The Division Manager must understand the pulse of the market and develop awareness of which potential acquisitions would complement CACI Mission Support capabilities, are aligned with the CACI Mission Support and Engineering Services Market Strategy and would make CACI more competitive in the marketplace. You will deliver on identifying market trends and develop strategies to position the Division for success. Demonstrated thought leadership in the market and active engagement with customers are crucial to anticipate customer needs, create value, and differentiate CACI from competitors. 

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Proven ability to win, develop and sustain a healthy new business pipeline of large, strategic pursuits with a healthy capture rate in the $150M+ range
  • Proven ability to win recompetes and deliver on contract growth to sustain the current portfolio 
  • Growth-oriented leader with Profit & Loss responsibility exceeding $150M in annual revenue and successful track-record of managing and growing a portfolio.
  • Experience with Navy customers supporting CONUS and OCONUS mission engineering programs with overseas operations is required.
  • 15+ years of related technical and business leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree specifically in related Engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of DoD and/or Federal procurement practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and work collegially as a contributing member of a strong leadership team. 
  • Must be able to work with capture teams to negotiate teaming agreements and partnerships with competitors; drive solutions and pricing strategies; build and sustain favorable customer relationships.
  • Strong track record of growth, capture, and proposal support.
  • Strong track record of successfully leading large complex programs and portfolios spanning multiple contract types (FFP, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M, FPLOE).
  • Proven exceptional customer relationship building and management skills.
  • Proven hands-on leadership style with a demonstrated ability to build success-oriented relationships across CACI, industry, and customer communities.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills with the capability to lead strategic growth in a challenging forward-thinking environment.
  • Display excellent written communications and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to establish strong partnerships with functional groups and stakeholders to resolve issues and create solutions related to staffing and attrition of talent.
  • Strong ethical foundation, value the power of diversity, and have a strong sense of personal and organizational accountability.
  • Ability to build and sustain a highly effective team through mentoring, connection, and development.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$150,900 - $354,600
