POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Operations is a dedicated professional who prioritizes the attainment of safe and efficient operations within Accelerated Mobile Power. They are committed to achieving this goal through effective implementation and management of field assets and resources. The Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in scaling the business, ensuring operational scalability, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word 'may.')

  • Develop and lead asset management program.
  • Develop and execute strategic vision for operations that supports the company’s growth, competitive positioning, and market expansion.
  • Create, lead, and maintain high-performing operational teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and lead field operations processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for all capex and operational budget metrics
  • Oversee financial metrics related to asset and resource management.
  • Ensure all asset and field documentation is completed and organized properly.
  • Support commercial team in development of capex and Opex estimates.
  • Lead direct and indirect teams to meet contract requirements.
  • Negotiate and oversee maintenance agreements with critical vendors.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure agreements are executed on time and within budget.
  • Direct supply chain resources to ensure quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries are meeting project requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business required, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in operational leadership required
  • Successful track record in operations and operations management
  • Extensive relationships with E&P sector – executive level highly preferred
  • Financial acumen to manage operations budget that meet company financial targets
  • Proven ability to plan and manage to achieve challenging budgets

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strategic, critical but creative thinker with strong business sense.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional team environments.
  • Experience working inside a field service organization leasing assets, managing operations, maintenance of equipment and service level guarantees (power generation, gas processing or similar organization)
