Job Description Summary:
The Vice President of Digital Wallets will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of our digital wallet product offerings. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in fintech, product management, and customer experiences who can drive growth and enhance user engagement in a competitive marketplace.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the overall strategy for the digital wallet product line, aligning with the company’s goals and market trends.
Identify new market opportunities and lead product innovation initiatives to expand the digital wallet offerings.
Product Development:
Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and compliance, to ensure successful product delivery.
User Experience Focus:
Champion a user-centric approach to product design and functionality, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Utilize customer feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement and optimization of the digital wallet.
Market Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could impact the digital wallet space.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align digital wallet initiatives with broader business goals.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including payment networks, financial institutions, and technology providers.
Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to the digital wallet product line.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the fintech or digital payments space.
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital wallet or payment products.
Strong understanding of payment processing, regulatory compliance, and security protocols related to digital wallets.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Passion for technology and a deep understanding of user-centric design principles.
