Your Impact:

As a Sr./Analyst in Controls Monitoring and Testing, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization’s operations. Your analytical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our controls are robust and functioning as intended, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks before they impact the business. Through your contributions, you will enhance the effectiveness of our control frameworks, support compliance with regulatory standards, and drive improvements that reinforce the strength and resilience of our operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our Controls Monitoring and Testing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the effectiveness of our controls through meticulous testing and monitoring. You will work closely with senior team members to design and assess controls that align with consumer regulatory standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in risk management and operational excellence within a dynamic and supportive environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control Testing: Conduct detailed testing of controls to ensure their effectiveness in mitigating operational risks, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Control Design Support: Assist in the development and design of new controls that address evolving business and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Support the team in conducting risk assessments to identify potential gaps in the current control environment and propose enhancements.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to interpret test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Incident Investigation: Participate in investigations of operational incidents, helping to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of control enhancements and ensure seamless integration into existing processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all control testing and design activities are conducted in compliance with consumer regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in risk management, control testing, or a related area.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL); familiarity with control design methodologies is a plus.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of consumer regulatory requirements related to operational risk and controls.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
