Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an Acquisition Logistician with relevant experience to provide Defense Acquisition logistician support in an Army Project Management office at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide programmatic, and acquisition logistical support to our Army Product Management Office.

  • Developing, reviewing, documenting, and resolving issues pertaining to Integrated Product Support elements such as design interface, sustaining engineering, maintenance, manpower, supply support, training and training support, packaging, handling, storage and transportation, technical data, and facilities.

  • Developing and drafting logistics plans such as: 

    • Acquisition Strategy Plans

    • Life Cycle Sustainment Plans

    • Performance Work Statements

    • Item Unique Identification Plans

    • Training Plans

    • Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation Plans

    • Maintenance Plans

    • Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS)  

  • Supporting the development and review of logistic documents and provide logistical input in the preparation/writing and coordination of documentation required for PM FPS program reviews, milestone decisions, program and budget submissions, cost estimates, and risk evaluations. 

  • Calculating and identifying factors affecting various metrics such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Operational Availability, Operational Readiness (OR), Mean Down Time (MDT), Spares to Life Cycle Cost Ratio, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Ratio (MR), Maintenance Cost per Hour, and Ownership Cost.   

  • Identifying and developing logistic budget requirements such as transportation, training, manpower, parts, maintenance, care of supplies in storage and post-production software support in support of Program Objective Memorandums.

  • Review, analyze, prepare, and/or update ILS studies, analyses, and program documentation in the areas of, but not limited to, supply, maintenance, transportation, sustainment engineering, data management, configuration management, manpower, personnel, training, habitability, facilities, computer resources, obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), survivability, environmental, safety, occupational health, protection of Critical Program Information (CPI), anti-tamper provisions, and information technology.

  • Tracking retrograde equipment and other tracking actions as required.  

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of related work experience.

  • Experience in Defense Acquisition Process in Program Design and Management; Test Design, execution, and reporting; Supportability design and integration; requirements development; Contract development.

  • Experience and knowledge in programmatic, financial, risk, schedule, and administrative support to an Army Project Management Office (PMO).

Desired:

  • Experience in introduction, training, and implementing an an Army Project Management Office’s Risk Management Plan

  • Experience in Program Design and Management

  • Test Design, execution and reporting
