The National Accounts team is part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Americas Third Party Wealth (TPW) Business and responsible for leading the business development strategy for third party wealth management clients.  

 

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Lead and establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at partner firms to drive business development efforts; including senior leadership, relationship management and product teams 
  • Develop and lead the partner firm coverage strategy to drive strategic initiatives aligned to firm goals as well as unique branding opportunities to differentiate GSAM from competitors
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for partner firms for leadership, product and distribution teams; including organizational structure, field structure, platform opportunities and data
  • Build and maintain trusted, impactful partnerships with internal stakeholders, including manager research coverage team, to deliver on client needs; high level of comfort presenting to senior leadership
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics on a regular basis; provide recommendations on impact
  • Provide insights to leadership on competitive landscape,  product positioning and client priorities to increase 
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics including AUM growth, revenue  generation and client satisfaction
  • High focus on detail, execution and project management skills
  • Culture carrier within the team and broader business; provide coaching and guidance to junior team members

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience of sales and/or relationship management experience       
  • Bachelor’s degree and strong academic background
  • Series 7 and 63 registration required
  • In-depth understanding of the third party wealth client base and competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated success in building and cultivating relationships with Third Party Wealth Clients across a diversified product set
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; ability to successfully engage at a senior leadership level
  • Ability to work in a team orientated environment; collaboration and communication are critical 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that is extremely dynamic

Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
