MOSAIC PROGRAM

The Goldman Sachs Asset Management Liquidity Solutions business has been managing institutional cash since 1981, with over $548bn (a/o March 2021) in money market and short duration assets under management globally. We invest cash for individuals, corporations, banks, pension funds, official institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and hedge funds, both in funds and separate accounts.

The Mosaic platform is a collection of technology products, infrastructure, and people supporting Liquidity Solutions clients, distribution partners, and internal Sales and Service teams. The open-architecture platform generates revenue for the Liquidity Solutions business by distributing GS and non-GS money market funds through internal and external technology partnerships.

As a Mosaic User Acceptance Tester, you can help us to realize this vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

YOUR IMPACT

This opportunity is to join the Mosaic Product Team as a User Acceptance Tester where you will be responsible for ensuring that our software applications meet the needs of our end users. 

The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver. We are looking for someone with innate curiosity, a commercial mindset, and a passion for understanding client needs. In this role you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across our Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Design teams to understand new functionality and ensure it meets the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As an empowered member of the Mosaic product team, you will apply a customer centric approach to ensure the quality of our systems and software.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Develop and execute test plans and progress monitoring for software applications
  • Identify and report software defects clearly
  • Work with Engineers to resolve software defects
  • Communicate with the product team to gather feedback on software applications
  • Document test results and create test reports
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with the product team and ensure they are involved throughout the testing and remediation process
  • Become an expert on the Mosaic platform so that you're able to identify explicit and implicit defects
  • Build a safe team environment with an emphasis on transparency, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Identify and escalate risk and dependencies across the program

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with design and engineering peers in a product development capacity
  • Ability to understand and articulate customer needs 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated success defining and contributing to the launch of digital products is preferred
  • Openness to feedback and strong self-awareness
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing can be helpful
  • Basic understanding for automation testing to do the execution and maintenance activity.
