Job Description

Job Duties: Associate, Asset Servicing with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Support Firm’s Corporate Loans held by various business such as Investment Banking, Distressed teams, and other trading desks. Identifying risks and inefficiencies in daily business processes, leading projects for the team and looking for avenues to improve the process. Ensure the business is in receipt of loan documents, financials, amendments, and other communication related to loans and disseminating documents to business and other stakeholders as required. Review and interpret complex loan legal documents to understand the corporate event and apply compliance guidance on distribution of those documents to stakeholders. Assist in manager function to approve final packs that contains the summary of Amendments, Waivers, Ballots & Consents (“AWBC”). Train team review and interpret corporate loan documents to perform Covenants Enrichment and Chasing financials function, expand understanding based on front to back knowledge of loan documentation process and to streamline the AWBC function by leading Global discussions to bring process consistency. Providing feedback and having career conversations with direct reports.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: reviewing and interpreting complex legal documents and understanding their impact to various businesses; identifying and capturing in the system covenant structure with deadlines on a loan such as financials, P&Ls, and auditor’s certificate; navigating internal business structure and disseminating corporate actions while protecting the confidentiality of the documents; performing secondary control checks on AWBCs that are distributed to internal stakeholders; following protocol when conflicting vote and response is provided by a business unit and use existing rapport to resolve it within the deadline; using automated reports and business intelligence tools to identify areas for improvements; and applying internal audit mandate and following steps to approve final packs that contains summary of the amendments.
