The Cleanup Support position is the entry-level position designed to be a stepping stone to higher level Fleet job classifications. The incumbent learns through on-the-job training and is provided an opportunity to select and choose a career path from the variety of trades and administrative fields available.

The Hourly pay for this role is $19.65

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm. 

What You'll Do

• Washes and pressure cleans truck and equipment exteriors. Cleans truck and equipment cabs and interiors.

• Empties trash and industrial waste.

• Maintains yard cleanliness.

• Organizes vehicles, trucks, and equipment in the yard.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Basic operation of pressure washers.

• General knowledge of operation of trucks and equipment.

• Safe operation of forklifts.

• Safe and appropriate use of tools, equipment, materials, and chemicals related to an automotive repair facility.

• Appropriate use of personal protection equipment and knowledge of basic safety procedures and rules.

• First Aid and CPR practices.

• Basic computer skills including the ability to create and maintain work orders, enter time sheets, use of the Internet, and operate a computerized fleet management program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Pass a pe-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Exposure to exhaust fumes, volatile chemicals, and hazardous substances.

• Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Required to frequently lift 5-80 pounds.

• May require working outdoors in all types of weather.

• Some positions require working evenings.

Licensing and Other Requirements:

• A current State of Washington driver's license.

• Obtain a Forklift Operator License within the first 180 days of employment start date.

• Obtain a First Aid and CPR card within the first 90 days of employment start date.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
