Job Summary:

Under limited direction with a high level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to function as the primary business development advocate for Reams Asset Management, including acting as a key point of contact for institutional and intermediary clients, monitoring portfolio performance and operational activities while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Facilitating new business development, both domestically and internationally, by helping to establish new relationships as well as identifying cross-selling opportunities is critically important. Works independently or as a team on assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed decisions or recommendations. Extensive contact is required with internal and external clients, as well as senior management, to identify, research, and resolve complex issues.

Knowledge of:

Fundamental concepts, principles and practices used in the securities industry
Fundamental concepts, principles and practices of relationship management
Investment product management and investment consulting experience
Financial markets and products

Skill in:
Interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Preparing management reports
Identifying trends and implementing appropriate corrective action
Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets

Ability to:
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior management
Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions
Balance conflicting resource and priority demands
Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization

Education/Previous Experience:
Bachelor%26rsquos Degree (B.A.) in Finance or related field and a minimum ten (10) years of experience in the financial services industry. MBA preferred.

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources


Licenses/Certifications:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Travel Requirements:
Yes, up to 50% of the time
