Job Description:

CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Software/Cloud Engineer to remotely support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manager (SUASMAN) web application.

Responsibilities

  • Create/deploy AWS Cloud Formation Templates
  • Create/maintain AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Instances with Windows OS
  • Experience with creating/maintaining CI/CD Pipeline to automate application deployments.
  • Create/manage Docker Containers
  • Create AWS Lambda service functions and EventBridge Events
  • Configure/monitor AWS Cloud Watch
  • Backup and restores plan and execution.
  • Patch Management
  • Generate PKI Certificate Server Request and Installations
  • Configure/monitor/maintain AWS Application Load Balancers (ALB)
  • Able to team up with DevOps lead to manage and administer multiple VPC environments.
  • Document Configuration Management and practices.

Required Quals

  • BA/BS Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Active minimal DoD Secret security clearance
  • COMP TIA Security + Certification.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification
  • 3+ years of operations experience providing application infrastructure support.
  • Competent to demonstrated experience in the following AWS areas: EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CLI
  • Strong infrastructure background in the provisioning, deploying, operating, and maintaining of storage, compute, and network solutions.
  • Proficient in network security concepts such as IPsec, VPN, SSH, and TLS
  • Experience in AWS ALB, forward/reverse proxy, and monitoring.
  • Scripting (PowerShell/Python)
  • Familiar with AWS AMI and Snapshots
  • Familiar with AWS RDS Instances
  • Strong technical documentation and oral communication skills
    • Understanding of DevSecOps concepts

Desired Quals / Beneficial:

  • Familiar with GitLab
  • Understanding of Kubernetes operations
  • Familiar with the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG)
  • Familiar with updating STIG checklists and implement resolutions for findings
  • Understanding of IIS web servers
  • SQL Server Database administration
