The Conflicts Resolution Group Eng (CRG Eng) team enables and supports Conflicts Resolution Group (CRG), which is involved in a wide range of the firm's businesses and transactions and provides exposure to the most senior business leaders and risk managers across the firm. CRG reviews business opportunities across the firm to ensure that reputational risk and potential and actual conflicts of interest are identified, assessed and managed so as to protect client relationships, safeguard confidential information, mitigate reputational risk and ensure that we are able to fulfill our responsibilities to our clients prior to accepting a role.

At the core of our platform is a modern web stack which utilizes state-of-the-art technologies like ReactJS, mircro services, docker/kubernetes , noSQL etc.,

 YOUR IMPACT

You will be working as part of a global, multi-disciplinary agile team, we are at an early stage in modernizing our tech stack. You will have opportunity to work at every stage of the implementation and build out.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Build highly scalable and responsive website and underlying services.
  • Collaborate on feature design and problem solving.
  • Build solutions using the latest cloud stack.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of software components, from requirements through design, testing, development, release and demise
  • Help to provide frictionless integration with the firm’s runtime, deployment and SDLC technologies
  • Engage in production troubleshooting and engineer product improvements to eliminate manual investigation were possible 
  • Responds and follows up on client requests.

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-6 years of hands on experience in developing Java/Full stack applications
  • Strong in core java programming skills.
  • Proficient in javascript frameworks like Angular, React. Desirable to have HTML5, CSS knowledge.
  • Relational database experience (e.g. Sybase, UDB) and/or ORM frameworks
  • Strong data structures, algorithms and design patterns knowledge
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic with high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communications skills (written & oral) and the ability to work with subject matter experts.
  • Ability to stay commercially focused and to always push for quantifiable commercial impact
  • Strong team player, required to work extensively with other teams locally and globally
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Core Java, multithreading, Spring framework, Elastic stack (At least 2 years hands on experience). 
  • Understanding/Experience of anyone of NoSQL technologies (e.g: MongoDb / Cassandra / Dynamo DB)
  • Experience with microservice design patterns and frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
  • Experience with serverless platforms (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
  • Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills
