The remit of our team is to make sure every single aspect of workplace is created and delivered in a professional and safe manner.  Our teams include Workplace Experience, the Office of Global Security, Chief Operating Officer, CWS Engineering and Regional Office Leadership. 

How We’re Organized

Workplace Experience: Encompasses end-to-end strategic real estate work from transactions to facilities. Departments include On-Site Solutions (inclusive of Facilities Management, Hospitality Operations, Document Management and Ground Transportation), Events, Client and Production Engineering, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development and Capital Management.

Office of Global Security: Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety, Crisis Management, Risk and Health and Safety teams.

Chief Operating Officer: Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include CWS Management and CWS Engineering which provides enabling engineering solutions supporting real estate and facilities management, on-site solutions, safety and security and CWS data and analytics.

Regional Office Leadership: Supports the firm in driving regional priorities and strategy in Dallas and Salt Lake City in partnership with local leadership. 

JOB SUMMARY

  • Build long-term meaningful client relationships with local senior management, division heads, business unit managers as the primary CWS contact
  • Execute real estate planning initiatives in regional sites including restacks, contraction and expansion.
  • Lead operational readiness programs for new projects
  • Drive client engagement issues to closure in a timely manner, as a problem-solver, reinforcing the value of service and commercial excellence
  • Ensure adherence to Firmwide policy, CWS strategy and process, compliance requirements, regional/local statutes and approved procedures in managing a regional location
  • Support and coordinate the operational aspects of on-site solutions, real estate planning and real estate development
  • Work with the regional on-site solutions team managing the local vendors to deliver the prescribed services as outlined in the contract, by effectively monitoring performance across a broad spectrum of functional responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain close business relationships with key operating partners, such as HCM, engineering, compliance, OGS, and CWS workplace experience subject matter experts
  • During a business continuity event and recovery, act as the liaison between local senior management, CWS on-site solutions, OGS and BCP/Crisis Management
  • Foster strong relationships with relevant property management, public officials and others, as they relate to the management of the regional facility

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen to develop solid and credible relationships with internal clients
  • People management skills to bring out the best performance
  • Impeccable attention to detail while overseeing operational functions and local capital projects
  • Strong project management skills in cross functional environments with the ability to drive the desired outcome in a timely manner while maintaining a high quality standard
  • Ability to maintain challenging schedule, meet tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem solving, and execution
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum five years experience in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management or Hospitality
  • Minimum five years experience with demonstrated proficiency in Vendor Management, including managing multiple vendors and ensuring exceptional service delivery in a demanding environment
