Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Cost Estimator to support our PMS 377 customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Cost Estimating support related to the LHA Program in support of program budget submissions, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, sensitivity analyses, or program reviews. Provides Estimate at Completion (EAC) status updates associated with construction cost contracts, develops Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCE), provides validation of Navy and Industry-developed cost reduction initiatives, and collaborates with other Program Offices or team members to perform cost related studies across platforms. 

  • Individual supports the Government to establish and evaluate Shipbuilders' rates, resolve accounting issues, and determine allow ability.  Independently reviews and evaluates programs cost elements to determine if estimates and offers for those proposed cost elements are realistic for the work to be performed.  Ensures cost estimates are consistent with the unique method/parameters of performance and/or material.  Assists the program office to determine is cost analyses are reasonably based. Must have the ability to understand and evaluate technical and engineering changes and clearly articulate and document issues into Technical Advisory Reports (TAR).

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7 or more years professional experience in the Cost Estimate/Cost Assessment field.

  • Active Secret Clearance

Desired:

  • 7 or more years of DoD/DoN, specifically NAVSEA shipbuilding programs, Cost Estimate/Cost Assessment experience.
