Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst with an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to be part of our dynamic team in supporting a federal agency in Springfield VA.

Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Analyst

Will be performing network traffic analysis and analysis of system data to identify suspicious activity and potential threats to resources

Will use information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise perform security events and incident correlation
Analyzes the results of cyber incidents to assesses damage to the data and the infrastructure.
Track and document all cyber incidents fully from the initial detection all the way until the final resolution.
Performs analysis and reporting of cyber incident trends

Qualifications of the Cyber Security Analyst

5 years of experience with cybersecurity
CSSP-IR Certification
Active TS/SCI polygraph clearance
Experience with Windows and linux operating systems
Strong knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies.
Strong knowledge of database and operating system security.

Compensation for the Cybersecurity Analyst

Salary; $100,000 to $110,000 per year (Flexible based on experience)
