The Opportunity:
Join CACI as an experienced Cybersecurity Defense Operations Task Lead to make a significant impact on the mission objectives of U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary coordinator for all client activities, working directly within the USSOUTHCOM Cyberspace Operations Division. Your responsibilities include providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to deployable Cyber Assist Teams, effectively managing and coordinating activities, and diligently reporting on progress to ensure mission success. Responsibilities:
You will also support the below tasks:
Manage and oversee coordination of defensive cyber actions through various agencies, partnerships, and teams.
Collaborate and align advise and assist cybersecurity/ cyber defense lines of effort.
Integrate findings and recommendations from previous courses of action and initiatives into future planning priorities.
Orchestrate country-specific Plans of Action (POA) and engagement strategies with Partner Nations for specific cybersecurity remediation, mitigation, and hardening lines of effort.
Supervise and oversee the translation of oral, visual, and written cybersecurity related documentation and materials aligning to partner nations objectives and goals.
Oversee/manage security deliverables to the customer, per contract requirements.
Lead, advise, and provide guidance to deployable cyber defense teams on a global scale with varying mission sets.
Convey technical/ tactical, operational, and strategic level cybersecurity updates to leadership at various echelons.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity strategy pertaining to cyber defensive measures and objectives.
Develop and assist in the deployment of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligning to customer and partner requirements.
Coordinate various initiatives to mitigate security risks through codified Department of Defense (DoD) and other US government Policies, Procedures, Regulations, and Authorities.
Understand the overall concept of leading multiple categories of cybersecurity professionals and subject matter experts (SMEs) in the course of their daily tasks and through customer-led mission sets.
Qualifications:
Required:
Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Minimum 10 years of Cyber-Defense and Cyber-Security experience.
Minimum 5 years of Staff experience at the Division level or above.
Demonstrated experience managing a deployed workforce.
Proven experience integrating information, analysis, technology, and interagency collaboration to streamline Staff processes and procedures.
Proven understanding of emerging and non-traditional Cyber-Defense and Cyber-Security concepts that shape the character of contemporary joint and multinational warfare.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Exceptional oral and written presentation skills.
Precise attention to detail skills.
Desired
Master’s degree.
CAPM or PMP, or related certificates in project management.
Demonstrated, recent (within the last five years) work in the SOUTHCOM AOR.
Demonstrated experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
Fluent, written and spoken, Spanish language skills.
