Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DOD-Secret Cleared Contracts Specialist to support a research team within DOD in Arlington, VA. The team is seeking a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR/DFAR policies. This is a HYBRID role requiring 1 day onsite/4 days remote.

Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist:

• Preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to national security objectives.
• Collaborating with COR to negotiate solicitations and release
• Modifying with precision and proficiency.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications of the Contracts Specialist:

• 5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition & contract writing
• Strong Soft Skills & communicating with Government Personnel
• Strong experience with FFP/Cost Plus Contracts, Cooperative Agreements, & Grants
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Active DoD Secret clearance

Compensation for the Contracts Specialist:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 per year
