Fleet Sweden is building a data collection system consisting of vehicles with numerous sensors, e.g., cameras, lidars and GPS. The purpose of the collection is to provide training and validation data for the development of ADAS functions for Automotive industry and in continuation autonomous cars. The system is designed with modularity and scalability in mind, to be easily adaptable to a variety of car makes and models, configurations, and hardware setups.

As Drivers Lead you will:

  • Be a part of the Perception Data Collection organization.

  • Secure drivers from suppliers for Global Data Collection activities withing Perception (drivers secured via regional and global partners).

  • Responsible for all drivers withing Global Data collection for Perception and follow-up on team deliverables.

  • Responsible for efficient Way of Working for global data collection.

  • Responsible for driver trainings.

  • Work with local team including team development.

  • Work with data collection organization to secure relevant pre-requisites for collecting data, test tracks,  peripheral equipment needed, risk assessments etc. (Development and build of data collection vehicle/system are handled by other roles)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. 

  • 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization. 

  • 3+ years of leading team, interviewing for hire, developing WoW

  • 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Staff level and above).

Level of Responsibility:

  • Lead the local and global Driver team

  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

  • Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.

  • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc. 

  • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

  • Tasks do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

  • Has a direct interface towards the data collection supplier(s)

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
