TCS is partnering with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) on a long-term contract, and we want you to be a part of it!  The functional capabilities are to provide the information technology (IT) infrastructure services required to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate support of national security.  TCS provides innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide to support the NGA mission.

CACI is searching for an Employee Advocate to join and support the Transport Cybersecurity Services (TCS) Program as part of our Program Management Office (PMO) to serve as an Onboarding Coordinator.  The PMO Employee Advocate and Administration team places high value on accountability, empowerment, and our connection as a team.  As a member of our PMO Leadership Team, this opportunity requires high communication across the program from executives to line personnel and pre-hire candidates.  You will be involved in the complete communication for onboarding activities and continue as a resource for Program personnel as questions arise.  You will participate in Event Planning for employee morale and engagement activities and work on diverse tasks as the needs of the program evolve.  The abilities to remain adaptable, able to re-prioritize quickly as Team’s needs change, be flexible, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure are vital!  If you are hungry to learn and develop within your career, our program encourages training, development of your skills, and opportunities gain more involvement on Program.

What You'll Get to Do:

The primary function of this role is to be the TCS Onboarding Coordinator, meet new personnel as they arrive, customize the onboarding process specific to each new hire’s program role, present information in group settings, and, once new hires are integrated to their teams, remain an engaged resource for the tenure of their time on Program.  This position requires building strong, trust-filled relationships and giving everyone a safe environment to openly communicate. 

The secondary function of this role is to engage with the TCS work force and increase open lines of communication between front line and leadership.   This role is intended to give resources the ability to freely express issues, concerns, or thoughts about the program and their role.  Based on input from resources, the employee advocate will deliver a report to the Program and Employee Advocate Managers, capture the data gathered, and include recommendations on how to improve the overall morale and satisfaction of the work force.  The Employee Advocate will develop and market to the workforce the enhanced Advocacy program, schedule discussions with resources, implement communication methods to team members, keep them up to date on what is being done with the input they provided – including status of improvements or changes made to program that addresses issues or concerns.  Follow-up discussions with team members should take place after the implementation of changes to ensure the employees see the benefit.

This position will also be responsible for:

  • Acting as the Program’s primary Onboarding Specialist for all locations.
  • Recommending team building actions or morale building tasks to the Program and Employee Advocate Managers.  
  • Providing insight regarding resources who may need additional outreach. 
  • Providing resources with information on career development, training, and other benefits that are available to them.  
  • Working with leadership to develop positive messaging to increase the engagement and trusted relationships between leadership and their teams.
  • Event development, planning, and coordination for groups of 20 – 200+.
  • Other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Occasional CONUS travel possible.

More About the Role:

  • Within the first month, you will become a Day One Coordinator, I-9 Certifier, and begin pre-hire communication.
  • Bi-weekly, discuss division feedback and areas to report with the Employee Advocate Manager and brief the Program Manager on findings.
  • Within the first 6 months, develop recommendations for program initiatives for employee engagement improvements.  Once an initiative is approved, the Employee Advocate will act as the project manager of the initiative to make sure that it does not lose traction and is successfully executed.
  • Develop and maintain a communication plan for the Advocate program.
  • Recommend ways to improve or utilize the Advocate role to drive better work life balance, improve morale, or increase employee satisfaction.
  • Develop measurements for key factors, so improvements are documented and can clearly communicate the benefit of the Employee Advocate role.
  • Between 6 months and 1 year, collaborate to build a marketing case for CACI leadership and demonstrate the benefit Program Employee Advocate’s provide other large programs.
  • Partner and coordinate with Team personnel, serving as a back-up for these positions as needed.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI, ability to obtain a polygraph
  • Typically has a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Public speaking and briefing experience.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to consolidate information into actionable items for leadership.
  • Microsoft Suite experience to include creating and formatting deliverables.
  • SharePoint and Teams data entry

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Relevant Government, DOD, and/or NGA focused experience
  • Executive level and PMO communication experience
  • Day One Coordinator and I-9 Certifier experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
