Our people are our most valuable asset, but our equipment is pretty important too! You’ll use your telecommunications know-how to install and maintain Verizon’s equipment in company buildings and remote locations. You’ll be hands-on in making sure we provide unparalleled service to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Erecting, constructing and removing steel framework, cable and equipment.
Performing cable and wiring operations within buildings and on racks.
Performing test functions.
Analyzing and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
Working with both AC and DC electric power cables.
Climbing ladders, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 60 lbs.
Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business.
You know telecommunications technology and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work on America’s fastest and most reliable network. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You know that the whole team needs to work together to win—and you take pride in a job well done.
Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $754.00 and $2,063.50 weekly based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
