Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an EW/RF Policy Analyst to provide technical support to the NAVY's Exports Program Office. This is an on-site position located in Washington, DC. The EW/RF Engineer will provide expert technical advice and guidance regarding Radio Frequency and Electronic Warfare systems and platform performance as well as drafting defense position papers and decision memoranda regarding US export of said systems.

Responsibilities of the EW/RF Policy Analyst include:

  • Technical, System, or Engineering experience with military technologies and platforms involving radars, IRS systems, electronic warfare, and infrared platforms
  • Ability to evaluate system utility and effectiveness
  • Ability to interpret DoD instructions on export policy to provide recommendations to DoD and industry for export requests, coordinate export policy and positions with SME's across DoD branches to ensure compliance
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and partner with various DoD, intelligence communities (IC) and other partners to address program requirements.

Qualifications of the EW/RF Policy Analyst include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of alike experience with exporting, RF/EW
  • Experience with policy development, writing, and presentations
  •  Clearance: Active TS/SCI for consideration

Compensation for the EW/RF Policy Analyst includes:

  • Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits encompassing health, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, sick leave if required by law
