The Opportunity:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of NAVSEA 04 and ensure seamless daily support operations.

  • Manage the Executive Director’s schedule, coordinate meetings, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; manage communication and information flows efficiently.

  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support the Executive Director’s goals.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and security protocols.

  • Work is on the customer site to ensure customer needs are being met. 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex scheduling and calendar coordination for the Executive Director, to include travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with high attention to detail.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and other NAVSEA departments. Maintain positive and professional relationships.
  • Track and follow up on key actions. Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and offsite engagements. Ensure all applicable requirements are met.
  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned

     

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of administrative experience supporting an executive-level manager. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 10 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.

  • Proven experience managing executive-level schedules and tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.

  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting executive-level leadership in a military or defense environment.

  • Knowledge of Navy maintenance processes or the Department of Defense organizational structure.

  • Familiarity with defense contracting and relevant industry practices.

  • Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, the US Navy, or the Department of Defense.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$64,400 - $135,100
