RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The organization consists of a number of core COEs (sitting centrally in the Executive Office) in areas such as Brand Marketing and Content, as well as integrated marketing groups sitting in each of our key revenue businesses. Together, this team collaborates on a scaled and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve, focused on protecting the firm’s reputation while adding value as an incremental distribution channel for commercial priorities.
The COO Team within Global Marketing is responsible for setting the direction for the horizontal function, spanning development of annual business planning, establishing KPIs, managing firmwide marketing spend, and leading initiatives around communications, culture, and talent; as well as partnering with the CMO on top-priority initiatives. The COO team drives collaboration across the brand and revenue division marketing teams, ensuring aligned “One GS” strategies and executional excellence.
