About this Role

As an expanding company, R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Field Safety Representative who is experienced, self-motivated, adaptable in fast-paced environments, and willing to embrace the challenges of evolving tasks and structures. This full-time, permanent position is based in Beaumont, Texas, with a requirement to travel as needed by specific projects.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct Job Safety Analysis as required
  • Perform job audits to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Manage inventory of safety equipment on-site
  • Inspect rigging, SRLs, harnesses, and other safety equipment
  • Provide hands-on training at job sites
  • Lead or assist with annual safety training on various topics
  • Facilitate crew safety meetings
  • Maintain required job site records, safety data, and equipment inventory
  • Demonstrate fluency in electrical theory and Relay and Substation operations

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of field safety experience
  • OSHA 30 and COSS, CUSP, or other industry-recognized safety certification required (CUSP preferred)
  • Strong reading and report writing skills
  • OSHA ET&D 20 certification
  • Powersafe certification
  • Knowledge of grounding and bonding principles
  • Preferred certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED administration
  • Understanding of first-aid procedures, safety rules, line materials, tools, and their uses
  • Effective communication skills for group presentations
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains on a regular and on-call basis in a safe and productive manner
