General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineering Intern you will work as a member of the Edge AI computer HW architecture team and be responsible for developing and validating performance, power, and other key metrics for next generation SoC Subsystems. These sub-systems address a wide array of applications for signal processing, machine learning, and ultra-low-power processing. Candidates should have an acute interest in both HW design and computer architecture, and an ability to apply SW engineering concepts to model, simulate, debug, and analyze key performance indices of next generation architectures. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate among multiple teams to find solutions, drive analysis, and document findings.

Minimum Qualification: 
•    Strong analytical skill
•    Able to solve algorithmic problems independently
•    Digital hardware design, RTL HDL design (Verilog, VHDL)
•    Programming and scripting (C/C++, Python)
•    HW modeling and simulation

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Computer and processor architectures
•    Machine learning
•    DRAM sub-systems, SoC bus fabrics, arbitration, network-on-chip
•    Digital signal processing
•    Digital HW CAD tools

Educational Requirements: 
•    In study towards a bachelors in one of the following 
Electrical Engineering
Computer Engineering
•    Must be available for from May 2025 - August 2026
