We are looking for bright, energetic, motivated students to join Qualcomm’s Canada 2025 intern class!
Do you ever wonder when todays-connected devices will become thinking devices? Be part of the group that is working on technology that will bring cognition to all connected devices: that means devices that do not just think, but instinctively react to their surroundings. We combine high-performance software with cutting-edge hardware to run deep neural nets with that little computer you keep in your pocket, that car you drive, or that vacuum cleaner you unleash to clean your house.
In this position you will build high performance software for our AI engine products. We develop new tools and SDKs to extend our AI solutions into all industry leading customer use cases.
Responsibilities can include:
- Development of optimization algorithms for ML operators/layers for the Qualcomm AI SW stack
- Development of AI systems optimizations to maximize utilization of Qualcomm AI HW and SW
- Enabling and optimizing state of the art neural network models to meet the demands of customer real world use cases
- Development of software tools for profiling, and debugging to support rapid deployment of new neural networks in this fast changing field

Minimum Qualifications:
- C++ or Python
- Programming
- Analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- C++, Python, Machine Learning, Android, Object Oriented Programming
Educational Requirements:
- In study towards a bachelors degree in one of the following: electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related field
For 4 month internships must be available May or June 2025 - August or September 2025
