OUR IMPACT

Global Markets is seeking an Analyst to join our Foreign Exchange team in Warsaw. The Global Markets division encompasses both FICC (Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities) and Equities businesses. Operations partners with leadership amongst these businesses to manage commercial initiatives and implement process improvements across the franchise. This role supports multiple Foreign Exchange Sales desks with trade booking, confirmation and onboarding to industry platforms(SWIFT, Finastra, FXAll, CLS). The role will include client communication and collaboration with internal teams to resolve trade-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience working successfully across diverse groups of cross-functional stakeholders and identifying opportunities to drive efficient workflow and process improvements. A candidate should also demonstrate comfort with leveraging data and technology to execute efficiently, as well as excellent communication, a passion for financial markets, and interpersonal skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with the Sales and Trading desk to facilitate day-to-day operations
  • Own pre and post trade processes as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams
  • Onboard clients onto GS platforms for trade execution 
  • Maintain a strong pulse on market factors and aggregate commentary for clients and business leaders
  • Work as a liaison between clients and downstream teams to solve trade issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience, preferably in financial services, Consulting or Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills. Essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and products, prior experience in Foreign Exchange or Interest Rates asset classes would be a plus.
  • Solid quantitative / statistical skill set, proficiency in business intelligence tools. 
  • Strong problem solving skills / ability to hold clear and concise conversations with internal and external business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
