Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an active TS/SCI CI Poly Cleared ISSE to join a government agency located in Chantilly, VA through 100% on-site work. The ISSE will be responsible for establishing Information Assurance standards, validating security requirements and regulating policies/procedures.  

Responsibilities of the ISSE include: 

• Create Information Assurance standards and regulations  
• Establish Information Assurance, and system security requirements 
• Perform technical security assessments on active environments  
• Identify risks and vulnerabilities, and create mitigations strategies  
• Review Accreditation Process (ICD 503), and NIST Risk Management Framework  
• Apply systems security engineering expertise 

Qualifications for the ISSE include: 

• 7+ years of experience as an ISSE supporting federal programs.  
• Strong knowledge of RMF NIST 800-53 and ICD 503 frameworks  
• Experience with compliance tools and conducting Information Assurance for highly classified systems 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline. (Additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.)  
• Security+, CISSP or equivalent is required. 
• Must have an Active TS/SCI with CI Poly  

Compensation for the ISSE include: 

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**
