Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Java Developers to support a secure flight program for TSA in Colorado Springs, CO or Annapolis Junction, MD. The team is seeking software developers proficient with full stack java programming to help build and maintain a critical ‘no-fly’ list application for TSA.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO OR Annapolis Junction, MD – on-site 1x a week  

Hours: Standard operating hours, 8-4

Clearance: Secret clearance, must be able to pass TSA background check (3-6 weeks)  

Responsibilities of the Java Developer:

•      Build web and backend applications services for credentialing case management system

•      Use Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment

•      Develop and implement software using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java

•      Work collaboratively amongst team in SAFe Agile delivery framework  

Qualifications of the Java Developer: 

•      Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience working as a software developer in an Agile environment

•      Active secret clearance, ability to obtain TSA Public Trust  

•      2+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications

•      1+ years experience using Java development tools (JUint, Git)

•      Experience with software solutions such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap

Compensation of the Java Developer:

•      Compensation: $90,000-$120,000+ – based on years of experience

•      Long-term stable contract through Zachary Piper Solutions supporting AFS TSA Secure Flight
