CACI is looking for a Lead Software Unit Tester with Google Test and gMock experience to perform unit testing and provide technical leadership for an Orion Spacecraft Flight Software (FSW) unit test team at the NASA Johnson Space Center. This position involves performing and leading a team of software engineers in implementing, executing, and evaluating results of the Orion spacecraft FSW unit test cases across various FSW domains.
Orion is NASA’s next generation crewed spacecraft that will rendezvous with the Gateway space station in Lunar orbit. Gateway is intended to serve as a communication hub, science laboratory, and short-term habitation to stage astronauts transferring to or returning from the lunar surface. Gateway will also be used as a testbed to develop technologies needed for crewed missions to Mars.

This position requires a self-motivated engineer or computer scientist with leadership experience possessing strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to outstanding technical expertise, the individual must be very people savvy, have strong customer relationship skills, possess a positive team-player attitude, be flexible and willing to take on new assignments and responsibilities as they arise, and be an articulate speaker able to communicate complex technical ideas in a convincing manner. The individual must share our passion for our Nation's Space Program and share in the excitement of developing the next human-rated space vehicles.
