Maintains Property Book or equivalent utilizing PBUSE or another online database.
Performs routine research and determines sources of supply, stock/part numbers, costs, and reimbursable status of material. Prepares requisition documents and forwards to applicable sources. Maintains the document register, assigns document numbers, and records the status and demand for material.
Monitors the status of requisitions in the document register. Provides status to customers and maintains a register of cancelled requisitions. Conducts a monthly reconciliation of the document register and determines appropriate courses of action.
Provides routine support for mission material management and handling requirements. Performs packing, shipping, receiving, handling, transportation and storage functions. Receives, stores, issues, segregates, cares, preserves, inspects, packs and accounts for materiel. Provides routine logistics handling, status, and accountability of LRUs, end items, supplies and spare parts support.
Prepares reports detailing the quantity on hand, quantity required, last purchase/maintenance action and maintenance history for all mission equipment, and repaired item.
Performs routine logistics planning and analysis for lifecycle support. Attends/participates in logistics conferences, audits, design reviews, site surveys, system/site assessments for lifecycle support. Performs basic investigations of mission requirements and provides fielding and scheduling recommendations for systems and equipment upgrades. Participates in determining provisioning levels for spares.
Conducts routine market surveys on an as-required basis and provides written recommendations to the Government regarding those manufacturers/companies whose products best fulfill the Government's requirements.
Manages and maintains the LMIS. Provides recommendations for changes or improvements.
Prepares routine procurement/lease packages for operational emergency materials required for emergency repairs, installations and evaluations to sustain mission critical support equipment or restore mission and to full operational status. Provides data for monthly status reports documenting each action taken.
Provides the LIMS data for performance and cost analysis of supported systems and subsystems.
Prepares supply and purchase transactions reports. Provides logistics status and accountability of material - LRU’s, end items, supplies and spare parts. Maintain stock control level and reorder parts.
Requisitions, receives, stores, issues, segregates, cares, preserves, inspect, and accurately inventories equipment and repair parts. Processes repairable/turn-in items. Provides packing, shipping, receiving, handling, transportation and storage functions.
Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
Able to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM or other customers/affiliates.
Bachelor’s Degree; or associate degree and four years progressive experience in military or civilian training in supply or logistics operations; or High School Diploma and eight years of progressive experience in supply or logistics operations.
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
Experience in logistics, government property book, supply 92Y equivalent, maintenance, and configuration desired.
Experience in managing equipment/system failures and associated record keeping including inventory of lowest replaceable units (LRU) and repair parts.
Experience in receiving, inspecting, packing and shipping government material. Familiar with modes of transportation.
Experience in utilizing ADP systems and logistics-oriented software applications to maintain an accounting of funds allocated and expended for material.
Knowledge of military logistics, supply, and general shop operations.
Ability to determine equipment serviceability, levels of repair, and provides accountability.
Ability to research, locate, and order material from vendors and contractors.
Knowledgeable of the Federal Supply System.
Knowledge of software applications to include word processing and ability to modify/tailor existing databases to generate, manipulate, and analyze logistics data.
Fluent in the English language includes the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant documentation.
Familiar with special handling, exemptions, tariff, and duty requirements for United States (US) military equipment/material through US and foreign customs. Capable of interfacing with foreign customs authorities to expedite movement of equipment/material through the customs process.
Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
